3.75 … was so insanely slow and plot-less for the first half but turned riveting and fast paced for the last 250 pages. very excited for the third book

I can't decide if this is a 2.5 or a 3. I went into the book and got completely blindsided because when I bought my copy there were no trigger warnings (TW: SA). After my initial shock/trauma panic, I decided to finish the book mainly because I HAD to see where she was going with this. I ended up enjoying the plot; however, I'm not sure my nervous system will ever see Peter Pan the same. This can be a fun, interesting read if you know what you're getting into, and it's not the author's fault that some people have different reactions to touchy topics- just super frustrating that there was no warning at first. I could see this being a 5-star read for someone else, just not me.
