I picked this up on a whim hoping it’d be as good as my Elsie Silver favourites and whilst it was a fun read it wasn’t on the same level for me!

I liked the setting, the characters and the romance however it was a bit heavy on the smut in comparison to the plot. I prefer more of a balance but that being said I am going to carry on reading the series!

DNF - I was bored and wasn’t overly invested in any of the plot twists 

I am obsessed with Sarah adams, this is the latest in the Rome Kentucky series and follows Emily and her nemesis Jack. 

It’s sweet, full of small town charm and a slow burn romance. If you’ve never read anything by Sarah adams I’d add her to your 2025 TBR!

I picked this up as it was in a 2 for £9 deal in the supermarket. I knew nothing about it, except that it was probably super popular since it was in Asda! 

I actually really enjoyed it, it was low states, fun and easily bingeable! An ideal January read!

I’ve been waiting for this to be released and received it as a part of our book club secret Santa so I knew I was going to read it first in 2025! 

This isn’t going to change the world, it’s a fun lighthearted cowboy romance. If you’re a fan of Elsie silver you’ll love this author and series - plus I am obsessed with the cover

This is an enemies to lover, best friends brother, with plenty of western charm!

I loved this. It’s a feel good, heartwarming book that makes you grateful for life’s twists and turns whilst providing comfort that everything will work out in the end. Definitely one to pick up if you’re feeling a little off balance and in need of a sweet romance/finding yourself book 

This was my second Karen Swan of the festive season and I loved it. I loved the art history elements and  the Scandinavian setting. Karen Swan has an incredible way of threading a story together without letting it drop in the middle. It was a perfect read for Christmas week 

I'm like a broken record by this point but I love Elsie Silver and I've read everything she released this year - another recommendation from me 

Non-fiction isn't usually my bag but this was an interesting read full of useful tips. 

I loved this book. It's full of festive warmth and sweet romance with real-world problems woven into the story. I loved the cast of school children and how they were intertwined within the story. It was a real gem of a book
