It started a little slow and didn't pull me in quite as quickly as the first book, but I was fully invested by the end.

Great continuation of the series! The back and forth, hot and cold between Asher and Ren got kind of old and tiring after a bit, but overall it's a solid story.

This was a fun addition to the story. I didn't love it quite as much as the first book, but I still thoroughly enjoyed every moment. I can't wait for the third book!

Was this book as cheesy as it sounds? 100%. And I very much enjoyed it. The writing was a little too much tell and not enough show and a little more simplitic for my taste, but it wasn't bad. The story was straightforward and predictable. I think a little originality to the vampire bits would've helped.

I very rarely read nonfiction, but this book has me hooked from page one. I pretty much read it in one sitting with just a break to grab a highlighter and a snack.

This book was very well researched and well written and made for an enjoyable read. Everything was explained very well with all the sources listed in the back and plenty of digrams, pictures, and more included in the text. The second half of the book even had exercises to complete to further educate. I highly recommend this book to literally everyone.

This book was fun from the first page. It's a quick read, but it's action-packed with an interesting plot that gave me Firefly vibes. The whole book was good, but those last couple chapters really made it. Absolutely phenomenal. This book is definitely worth the read.
