I just think that Octavia Butler isn’t for me. I don’t know. I think I’ve DNF one other over books and I read kindred, but I just can’t seem to be interested in them and that’s really upsetting to me and I think I’ll try to read her books again eventually, but I just don’t think that they’re for me right now.

I just could not get into it. The premise sounded good but it didn’t deliver or catch my attention at all. I did not feel compelled to pick the book up again which is why I stopped reading it.
