I HATE Captain Ahab with every fiber in my being. That's it. That's the review.

Son Hak is everything a young girl needs to survive a quest and a chasing troop of soldiers. (I'm saying this in a very, VERY, good way.)

Nice short story. The latter half is far more intriguing and fast-paced than the first half. I won't give away any spoiler here; plenty did that already.

Well-written for main characters. Many characters other than the first two Dashwood sisters aren't that well-written. But Marianne is so brilliantly told that even I really disliked her characters for the most part of the book, until she finally learns a thing or two.

Many information about old tattoos. The pacing is rather slow. The narrative is easy to follow, but the one thing that doesn't sit right with me is the appearance of deus ex machina. I mean, putting a new character just to solve everything in a blink???? What???? To be honest, I'd give it 3.5 if I can give a half star.
Frankenstein: The 1818 Text by Mary Shelley

This story ages like a fine wine. The Royal Ballet's take on Frankenstein was what push me to pick up this book after a very, very long delay, and boy I'm glad I did. The prose, even though feels rushed at some parts and draggy at some others, is very much poignant and neat. At the end of the day, I don't feel any sympathy towards Victor Frankenstein, but I wonder if that was the actual intention of Shelley: to make reader question the main character.

She's got this. Personal rating: 3,5 out of 5, namun sayangnya Goodreads tidak mengakomodasi 0,5 poin rating sehingga ya.. tiga bintang.
