I loved me some Juri and Benji. Juri was so feisty but petty. She was deff a tic for tat girly and her age showed a lot. Benji would do things and not even think about how Juri would feel. I wonder if that’s a guy thing lol. They be so dumb sometimes. I loved him tho cause in all reality he was a good dude.

Smfh at Dom. If a man don’t want you keep it pushing doing things out of spite never ends well & you would have to endure the consequences. Jealousy really is a ugly trait to have. She caused this on her own.

None the less I enjoyed this. Now I’m ready to get into Jigga and Daisie.

Now this the Camilla I was looking for in book one. Sis really boss tf up this time around and I loved it. I couldn’t stand Keem in book one but I warmed up to him in this book. I really saw growth and maturity and I loved that for him. This couple grew on me and to see how far they had come was so beautiful. Glad they got it together and got their HEA.

This gave me anthology vibes not that I’m mad about it. I did enjoy most of the mini stories and about few of them I was bit confused or just wasn’t grabbing my attention. These stories have love, betrayal and revenge but what’s jaw dropping is how Octavia pieces it together to have you saying “I want more, this is not enough”. My only downside I have is I wished this focused more on Olivia. I was too invested in her. Her whole demeanor had me clutching the sides of my sheets. I just had a whole different view on how this was going to go.

I be so focused when reading a book by Octavia. The way she develops her characters grabs your attention whether you love or hate them. She reels you in and would have you like “What’s going on in that head of hers” then have you questioning yourself because how so intrigued you are. This is a novella so be advised that it’s pretty short and would be over before you know. You would want more. I give this 4.0⭐️.

Camilla was getting me tight with letting Keem get a way with murder. I kept screaming “B!+c# boss up, get ya lick back.” Keem was pissing me clean tf off. Like he really had some nerves on him. I wasn’t a fan of him. These two with they back and fourth was stressing me out. I’m like get it together but I did start to see growth on both their sides towards the end. I also loved Ari and Brooke’s banter. They would have me cackling everytime. I can’t wait to get into the rest of these characters world. I’m dying to enter Benji’s story.

This gave me nostalgia vibes. This was good. I had this on my TBR for so long and mad that i’m just now getting to it.

Now this is my type of FMC.

I loved Sage. She was blunt, outgoing and funny. She aint take no $#!t from anybody. I loved that about her. She was just herself. Zane met his match with Sage. They both was crazy for eachother. I loved them together. They really matched eachother. From their conversations to their chemistry they was just dope for eachother.

I was invested from the first page. The only downside of this is the grammar but other than that this goes hard. First time reading this author idk why she is not talked about more but I will be exploring her catalog.

Franco had Reign going out sad. The pettiness in me would’ve had to get my get back. She was too weak for me.

Ughh.. This pissed me off. For Zara and Yohan to be best friends she did him so wrong. You wouldn’t do that to your bestfriend without communicating. Zaara was just selfish in my opinion and poor G-Money smh. This story lacked character development. It was all over the place. This could’ve had so much potential.

I’m a bit on the fence with this read. I feel like there is a few loose ends. What happened with Demond? It’s like he vanished. The same goes for Morgan. She seem like a relentless type of person so I wanted to see how things turned out for her. Karisha and Valentino was a pretty good match for eachother. They both was work motivated and both deserved love because they was just settling. Quick read.

Talia Tate is a new attorney trying to make a name for herself. Maddox Reed is detective with ten years in the police force under his belt. Both having busy lives with no time for romance. Just tapping on their phones Talia and Maddox hookup with the same intentions in mind “no strings attached”. The two started falling quick and deep until things took a left having Talia choosing what’s mostly important to her.

Maddox and Talia both being on the opposite side of the law causes havoc between the two. Maddox being relentless would not stop to have Talia even if it cost his job or most importantly his life.

This story was a roller coaster. The FMC and MMC got on my nerves a bit lol. Talia was singleminded and moved with emotions. Maddox with his hypocrisy just irked me. The plot was unpredictable and took some twists and turns. I liked how the author mentioned the topic of racism that is very much happening now in todays society.

I have to say I had whole different vision on how this story would play out. If you looking for a slow burn thriller with romance and a cup of spice this is it.

HyKeem was so cocky and arrogant. Beauty was so funny to me. Them two together had me in tears. I love reading about bad boys falling for good girls. Glasses had her Keemy hooked. Good read!
