I love this book, but it started to drag after the 400-page mark. It took back up but having the story slow down there made it difficult to finish. I loved how Gabriel told the story, switching from different plot lines and time periods to see how much his character changed throughout the years and how he turned into the person telling his story.

I could not get used to the writing syle. It's a good story but I cannot get past the way it's written.

It is a very cute story that has a strong woman lead. She isn't meek like you would expect out of a story like this. It was a very easy read that I would recommend to people who want a feel-good story to break up the heavier novels on their reading list. I will continue with the stand-alone stories at some point in the year.

It was a decent mystery novel, but it started to drag about half way through the book. The ending was nice and wrapped everything up in this part of the plot but I don't think that I'll be continuing the series.

It was a cozy fantasy that was cute and simple in plot. It wasn't a favorite but it was fast, easy read and I enjoyed the story.

The story follows two different perspectives with different story lines and I’m not a fan of one of the plots.
