Loved it! A tense, spooky read combining supernatural scaries with very real life horrors. This was my first Tiffany D Jackson book and I will definitely be back for more

A hunger games-esque vampire story. It was fine?? I read it fairly quickly, so it’s definitely compelling but not the strongest romantasy out there. I didn’t find the characters particularly loveable (Raihn is charming but not a hall of fame love interest) and I thought the writing was a bit repetitive and somehow also confusing despite exposition dumps (also A lot of the terminology/names made up for the story was too similar, maybe this is a book better read via audio)
Despite it being 450 pages it still felt like the scaffolding of the story without a lot of the good middle bits fleshed out in satisfying ways…it was fine!
