The Alpha's Bound Mate is a supernatural fantasy / paranormal romance, heavily focused on the romance. It does however have an interesting storyline linked to the romance going on as well.
The only thing I would have liked seeing more is Reese and his Beta connecting, or even for Naomi and the beta to have an interaction, Naomi and other high ranked wolves as well, and for her to even attempt any Luna duties. I also would have liked a confrontation between Rosa and Reese, I was a tad disappointed that wasn't there when he dealt with Rosa's family.
That said, the story was really enjoyable! If you enjoy supernatural beings and a book with great writing and heavily romance focused then you'll love this!

Silence Falls; a new alpha is a supernatural fantasy about werewolves and pack life, rogue wolves, war and mates.
The book had a lot of potential but felt a tad rushed at times, the pace for specific events in the book felt unrealistic and sudden, and the whole mates thing doesn't really sit well with me given how that went down for Katie. It just didn't make sense.
Also the book felt unedited, with some typos and lack of comma's in sentences.
The ending feels open, as if this is the beginning of a series, but I think it's meant to be a standalone, I'm not finding anything online about it being a series.

Winter and the Wolves is a MMM omegaverse / supernatural fantasy with lots of depth, worldbuilding, fated mates and lots of angst!
While it doesn't feel entirely finished for a standalone (even if it's a interconnected standalone series) due to the somewhat open ending and questions that leaves me with, specifically and only between Summer and Winter, I loved all the characters and the Mikaelson family so much! It makes me curious to more.

Personally I prefer there to be a clear storyline rather than only romance/spice/smut as focus for the entire book. However, I did enjoy the read a lot. I'm still very confused about Reef's absence, but hopefully that will be explained in one of the other books. But given every book in this series can be read as standalone, I would have rather found out in this one.

The ending with Marcos and Marcella was a tad rushed, it would have made sense to be eased into the story more from the beginning of this book. I also don't like how Rose and Casimir haven't spoken since the incident, and Rose reasoning with Aleister to forgive Casimir, because clearly Casimir is his best friend/family too. Even if he made a mistake, the focus was so heavily on the main couple that other important characters and things happening kinda took a back seat, which is a shame.

If you enjoy supernatural fantasy books about mates, then you'll love this! I enjoyed the read a lot, I'm a real sucker for mates type of tropes in any fantasy books, but also adored the way life of the wolves was introduced compared to vampires.
I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 merely because

I would have liked to see the pack more involved, and Marcella bonding with them, as well as taking up her duties and how that would go. I feel like she could have earned Jarek's respect by attempting those duties, by showing she cares about the pack and not just about her mate. The pack was also with Marcos when they went to Aleister to get Marcella back, and for them to not have tried to change Rose's mind? When the pack was described to be so fond of her, having seen her as their Luna and Queen for so long? I felt like that was a missed chance. It also doesn't make sense that Rose wouldn't just tell them about the mate thing.
I also kind of rooted for Jarek and Rose 🥲 But I saw this coming for Rose when she joined them to the Underground, and I'm very curious to her book too!
The book also still leaves a lot open about Marcella's birth parents and the hints about her moonstone eyes, her true heritage and the prophecy. Since the series can be read as standalones I thought it would have the important questions answered in this one.
Aside from those things that I missed, I adored the storyline, the depth, the relationship between Marcos and Marcella, everything about the Old Gods, the mysterious things and everything was such a joy to read! I'm definitely reading the second book in this series, already have it ready to go!
