Finished in a day. Thrilling and fast paced. I can't say I liked the characters. It was the plot that kept my focus. I'm still not sure if I should read the sequel. There are certainly more exciting dark romance books. But I'm not giving up on the author. Maybe I'll try my luck with Brutal Prince some day. 

 

 This was so so good. 32 chap so far yet I'm so hooked! 

 This book reminded me again why I stopped reading young adult fantasy.😩

I’m not saying it’s bad, it’s actually good and I would have liked it more if I did not read that much of the same genre. Apart from that my rating is fair. Because,

What I liked:
-The story is fast paced.
-Arwen is courageous, willing to learn.
-Kane spreads kindness even though he seems cruel.
-The magic and far folk is hidden from the other world.

What I didn’t like:
-At the end of the chapters, Arwen’s vision always gets blurry and the last thing she sees is darkness before she falls.
-She’s taken very good care of yet she still complains nonstop.
-When she’s in a more terrible situation she risks everything for people that are in good positions.
-Kane has so much time for Arwen. He’s ridiculously interested in her more than his own war.
