It just kinda sucked... I guess they were going for Lolita-esque study of what is done to teen girls but it was done in a way that made me feel sad and disappointed.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 10%.
It's the tee-hee type of a British humour that just makes me roll my eyes. If you enjoy it, you will definitely enjoy the book!

Well that was stupid.
The author has the tendency to repeat the same thesis over and over again and it's fine in a short story but not long form.
It also has very explicit incest pedophilia in it, in case you thought it would be a funny concept to explore.

Unfortunately it disappointed me. The first half was decent, even if I thought I've seen it all in better books before. Then it went downhill. Packing up all action and four plot twists/ reveals into the last 15%, after multiple chapters of teen drama, just did not work out. I also hate to see women introduced just for drama to then die. Nothing quite clicked, and nothing was developed enough to compel me.
