I enjoyed this book, it was recommended as an alternative to the Bridgerton books and I found the relationship and banter between our leads to be good. 
I felt the ending was a bit rushed, but the spice was good and I’ll probably read more by this author.

While I loved the tongue in cheek start of the book the tone shift between fun light hearted romance to murder and mayhem was just to much. 
I also feel like the politic weren’t fleshed out well enough but for a quick spicy read it was fun.

Atmospheric with Appalachian ghost stories and a nod to old folk and bluegrass music. Loved the mystery and felt some nostalgia for a teenage love triangle.

A great coming of age story w/ discussion of sex, purity, consent and what makes a ‘nice guy’ a nice guy. I found this book funny and charming and Del as a main character entertaining. 
I loved the side characters and how everyone had their own story going on and how the flowed into each others story. 
A great book for teens and a good choice for books clubs.

A realistic story of survival when taken by people you thought cared about you. While I enjoyed most of this story there were parts that annoyed me but over all a good suspense story about a kidnapping, grief and healing for trauma.
