The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka
*3,5 stars*
This was entertaining and interesting, but I think I missed a lot of the big themes in this story and that's why it was only ok for me.

This is my second time reading this book (this entire series, actually) and I'm keeping the original rating that I put in the other edition.

Blood of Elves by Andrzej Sapkowski
This was a quick and entertaining read. A big portion of this book is dialogue and it doesn't really have a plot, it's mostly about getting to know the characters and the journeys they are in, as well as the political situation in this world and the main players in it. I found all of it really interesting, so I didn't mind it the lack of plot.
While it mostly focuses on Geralt and Ciri, the truth is that there are a lot of scenes from other character's perspectives that show what the different players in the war are doing or planning. Because it jumps between characters, the timeline isn't linear, between one scene and another weeks, months or years could have gone by and there are also flashbacks about what happened to other characters during the time that was skipped. While this felt a little jumpy at times, I think it made the story feel very fast paced.
Overall, I really enjoyed it and I can't wait to continue reading the series.

This was definitely my least favorite issue so far, but I still enjoyed it. The art is beautiful as always, love bb free and Chulita and I think the plot is taking shape and becoming more interesting. The reason this one is my least favorite is that it felt like the transitions from one storyline to the next were a bit incongruous
