In six words:
LO loved; lengthy; where's the punctuation?

----

So I initially gave this book 3 stars, but since we've been re-reading the story ever since May I've fallen in love with it as much as he fell in love with it the first time we read it. My LO loves his animal books and this one is no different. He enjoys the rhyming and enjoys the race in the story.

The pictures are beautifully drawn and he recognizes each animal introduced that lives in the jungle. We follow three friends, a tiger, giraffe and jaguar on their adventure to gather everyone for a race. This story teaches the kids to not be fearful of anything and that there is always a way to be positive and to conquer any type of bullying or taunting before and during a race.

Despite that there really isn't any punctuation, this book is a keeper and something my LO will enjoy for the next few years.

It was written well, but it was just there. Not really sure I'll remember this, but I am curious to see what is going to happen next. But it's not enough to add this on my favorite list.

Quick bedtime read.

My 5 year old enjoyed this book. It rhymed and we “followed” our senses. It’s a quick read for in car rides or if you plan to read multiple books before bedtime.
