Holy crap!!! I really wasn't sure if I was going to be able to make it through this book. The first 70 or so pages are tough. Please read the trigger warnings and take them seriously.

I loved Honor and her strong will to survive. There were honestly parts where I wasn't sure she would. I'm so glad she found Fox and I'm even happier at the ending. Also, we all need a Helen in our lives and I'm sad I don't have her as my own grandmother. This book was intense, but it was so worth the ride. I devoured this book and stayed up later than I should have just to squeeze in a few more chapters each night. I will be adding Hunter and Ghost's story to my tbr for sure!

I want to start by saying I'm sad this series is over. I really enjoyed all the Black Resorts books. I still think Little Dove is my favorite though. The spicy scenes in this book were great, and there is mmfm action.

I will say I was kind of disappointed with the plot though. It seemed like the plot would advance a little then whatever happened would kind of be pushed off to the side for a spicy scene or for the relationship to advance. After
Callie gets out of the hospital we have nothing until the mannequin. Then after the mannequin there's nothing until the very end
and it just seems like everything is forgotten until those events. I'm also not sure there was a ton of character development for anyone besides Marco who came out of his shell.

This was a quick sweet and spicy read. I really enjoyed Trick Shot, so this follow up with Leo's brother did not disappoint. I loved the open communication throughout the book between all the characters. The spicy scenes were also amazing and there was a good variety of kinks happening. I could easily see Kayla Grosse becoming one of my favorite authors.

My only regret with this book is how long I waited to read it. I loved seeing Kal strip back his layers and be vulnerable. I also loved Elena and how strong she became. I just wish we saw her stand up to her parents a bit more.

I loved this book so much I started recommending it to my leadership team before I even finished it! I love how it reframes the way we look at behaviors and the problem solving process. As a school psychologist, this is definitely something I want to bring to all my schools to start implementing!

I didn't realize this book existed until I visited the author's website to check trigger warnings for Promises and Pomegranates. I'm glad I discovered it though. I was happy to have this intro to Elena and Kal. I'm excited to start the next book tomorrow. I hope Mateo gets what he deserves.

I'm not really a bully romance girl, as I've said in another review but I really wanted to give this book a chance. I really hated Vicious for a good portion of this book. I thought Emilia was right for telling him to fuck off and hating him. I like that she made him grovel and prove himself. This is a slow burn romance for sure. Once Vicious started peeling back his layers I did come to like him. I still am not sure that I love the ending, I am a sucker for an HEA but at times I was feeling like maybe this couple shouldn't end up together at the end of the book. I think I wanted to read this because of another book in this series. This wasn't a bad read. I like L. J. Shen's writing, but it's not one that's really going to stick with me and that I'll think about over and over.

At this point I don't think there is a Tillyverse book I won't love. Angelo was a big dummy for not being straightforward about that thing. But I love how he was with Beth.

Beth is such a strong character and her relationship with Noah really warmed my heart. I enjoyed the portrayal of a non-traditional family even if the circumstances sucked. Her relationship with her mom was also relatable. Noah was also a great side character as was Sissy. As always, I loved seeing the other characters pop up in this book.

This book was definitely more suspenseful than the first which was also great.

This book was so sweet! Caleb and Layla were the classic "pining from afar" trope. It was super cute and I loved how Caleb was always there for Layla. I also love seeing the townspeople and am so looking forward to Charlie's book. I didn't really care for the third act break up, but the dirty talk in this one was much more than I remember from the first two books and I really appreciated that.

I really had no idea how Shiloh's book was going to go. In everyone else's books she seemed like a scared person who couldn't cope with anything. I am so glad that was not true. It was so good to get insight about her thoughts and feelings towards everything. Especially with the way her family was.

Same for Ramsey. The grumpy ranch owner who seemingly hates people. Understanding why he distanced himself and seeing him open up was so good.

The addition of Elliot and Aiden was so good too. And just the whole theme of the ranch putting the broken pieces back together... Ugh my heart!

I will say this book deals with darker themes than the other books in the series did so make sure to check those trigger warnings.

<Spoiler>I am so glad these two characters found their sky in each other. These two definitely deserved their own little slice of happt.
