What an intriguing adventure to watch strong magicians work through things, especially Rhys and Moira after suddenly things change incredibly quickly into a different way! It is such a wonderful way of seeing how communication is key, how magic comes in many forms and that sometimes even our thoughts are not always the safest thing to us.
Absolute delightful read and wonderfully portrayed by Joe Kempel reading the story to us, readers.

I did enjoy the story and the way you venture from your world to a castle which is otherwise out of your reach. And the progress of the story had me on my toes at points. Especially considering what is at stake. The only thing I wished was for a tiny bit more depth about some of the characters. Hence only 4 of 5 stars.

“Love Immortal” by Kit Vincent really embraces the love for (especially Gothic) Literature, vampires and dark academia in a wonderful story. Jonathan is, for me personally, such a fun character to follow as we both share a passion for literature and his curiosity is a very charming point. The way he wants to know who stole a very unique book from the vaults of the library and why this diary might be so important to the thief.
What you also will encounter are also beautiful friendships (looking at you Fiona, Becky and also Jessi 👀), dreams haunting you at night and a story which will speak to your heart. I promise.

The way this book is fiction but conveys the life of a scientist, a surgeon who slowly becomes a taxidermist (of a big, incredible kind) and a passion so bold and unique, keeps me on my toes.
There is just so much you learn of Dr Spencer Black’s studies and his life and even though I know better, it makes me want to refuse that he is possibly only fiction.
It is a super incredible read!

As someone who loves bats (but also other animals), I find this book gives the reader a good, a very good insight into the different species of bats, their history and how unique echolocating is. I am amazed of all the knowledge being broken down into a mostly understandable phrasing, so that even I can get it - the different types, the way some bat families developed this kind of way to use echolocation in a different way than another. It is an incredible book which really conveys the love for this animal. I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves them and who wants to know more.
The King's Men by Nora Sakavic
I think I never read about something so hard to explain to the world and yet never be able to hate it. Like seriously, this series is a RIDE! But - if you made sure you read the Content Warnings and all - just start to love it.
I swear, I enjoyed this last book of the main trilogy to its fullest.

It is such an intriguing and very informative graphic novel about witchcraft, magic and how especially Biddy Early has shaped a lot of what witchcraft is understood as — something which could be considered its own form of science if you work with nature in a balanced way, if you only take what you need without greed. It is beautifully illustrated. I seriously like it.

For anyone who is a fan of the same titled game, this graphic novel series would be for you. Also for generally everyone who hasn’t played it and wants an inkling of what awaits one.
I love that you get such a big insight into the characters who you encounter in the game and how deep the lore actually gets. It is beautiful.

A couple of heartwarming short stories which will sweeten your wintery days and, again least for me it did, enhance the excitement for the festive season. You get through the stories rather quickly and everyone has its own little twist to the tale. They are all beautiful.

This graphic novel is such a wonderful story about an artist who is struggling to come up with inspiration until suddenly an Alien appears in her apartment and from there on starts an adventure into chaos combined with unique friendships.
It is super action packed, filled with incredible art and a colour palette which just enhances the entirety! I seriously loved this.
