The Pound family gets more than they bargained for when hire Winifred Notty to be their governess. Ms. Notty has quite a Christmas planned for them! Unfortunately, the more she learns and stays with the family, the harder time she has sticking to those plans...

This book was a fever dream. Once I started, it was hard to put down this weird and interesting book. Very darkly funny, very gory.  It was an interesting juxtaposition with the proper way the book was written versus the content of the novel.  I was a bit let down at the ending, truth be told, but it was honestly the most realistic.  If you love novels of mad women, this is a great one to pick up!

When an average girl is hit by a truck, she is reincarnated as a child named Ailette Rodeline.  This first novel shows her getting used to her new world, friends and skills.  I loved this story! The drawing style and the colors were perfect, the story was a great intro into the world.  I will definitely read more of these books in the future. I loved the scenes with her family and with Bianca.  I enjoyed the class/religion system and can't wait to see where this isekai takes it!

This was my first book by the author, and it was fun, steamy, enjoyable read. Overall, I enjoyed the character interactions, the love Thor had for Matty and the decent balance between smut and plot.  I do wish there was more resolution with Addison's parents, I would have loved to see her gain the confidence to stand up for herself.

I love the 90s. I love throwback horror, I love the guts and gore. This had a little bit of everything -cults, demons, and possession - and it could have been too much, but it worked out well! It was a quick read of about 100 pages and was the perfect pick me up after a series of heavier novels I read.
