main character did too much stupid shit for my taste

I might end up liking this series even more than the previous one. It kept some of the things I liked from the previous series (like Widdershins being fucking weird, and the locals being convinced this is how it works everywhere), but also adding new things, like exploring the library and a real monster boyfriend.

Never thought Power of Love would be the thing to solve everything, but it fits the series. Also, I liked a little horror in the museum, returning to where we began, etc.

It's Heliabel's time to shine!!! Christine is pregnant and craving food constantly, which kinda got less funny as it went on tbh. And now we have all the umbrae living in Widdershins along with

the Endicotts

, so that's gonna be fun.

Whyborne learns (again) that sometimes your biggest enemy is your family. It's not enough that they keep trying to kill you, but they don't even respect your desk.

I was a bit bored tbh. I like the story but the writing style/execution had too much detail, maybe.

Can you imagine I didn't like this book at first. Then the messed up romantic relationship dynamic got me by the throat. Also, sibling relationship, and a cat called Lucipurr. What else do you need.
