Don't get me wrong. This book is amazing and super well written. But the topics of the story were just too dark and disturbing for me to finish the book.

I went into this book expecting a smutty and poorly written novel. It was anything but. The book is solidly written with well-rounded characters. I loved Hecate, Hades, and Persephone.

The first book was enjoyable. This was almost an exact repeat. The story was bogged down with unnecessary scenes and repeating information. I decided to rehome the duology to someone who would enjoy it more.

There were so many spelling and grammar errors. One of the narrators was absolutely grating to read. And the story was incredibly predictable. I did not enjoy it.

I found the beginning incredibly confusing. I'm not saying this is a bad book, but since it was outside my normal genre and wasn't fitting well with me I decided to put it down.
