Personally I didn't enjoy this book. The premise was promising but the execution fell flat. The whole first half felt very much like ACOTAR fanfiction.

And the ending was not satisfying for me. I guessed a lot of what was going to happen by chapter 10 and almost everything else by chapter 19.

This felt like the miscommunication trope to the extreme which has never been a favorite. There were so many places where honesty could have made a better story.

Always a favorite. So beautifully told. The imagery is captivating and the characters likeable. The ending was extremely satisfying

Some of the writing style was annoying and pulled me out of the story. Aside from that, loved it

It was a decent book. A little slow and redundant in places. Not sure I'll read it again but it was cute.

I love the story. Second time reading it. But boy did I notice the repetitive nature of the prose this time. So many places in the book could have been paragraphs shorter if SJM didn't need to over explain a feeling or appearance. Still a treat setup for a great series.

Loved the narrator. She did a great job. Definitely a favorite book of mine. Second time reading it in as many years. There's a few points where the story feels a tad forced but over all a lovely read.

What a charming book. I could definitely see the influence behind the tales but they were uniquely reimagined. My favorite was probably the Soldier Prince, but they were all magnificent. I would absolutely recommend this book for anyone looking for a quick, thoughtful read.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 62%.
Too little plot desperately trying to make a novel out of a sex scene.
