Mercy is one of my favorite female characters I have ever come across. I knew I would love this series as soon as I finished what is written of the Alpha and Omega series. This book's blurb doesn't do the story justice of just how much action awaits. I love the idea that she is a walker, but not an actual skinwalker that kills for the skin she wears. I can't say too much more without giving anything away, but I highly recommend this for anyone interested in dark fantasy novels, a badass female lead and overall an awesome story. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

I’ll have to update this review later but this is my favorite out of the series. Briggs is truly amazing when it comes to story telling. While I went through this series in a couple of weeks, I could not put Burn Bright down for a second!

I heard good things about this book, but honestly I was still surprised by HOW good it was. Anna, though timid and abused, had a strength in her that I haven't seen in a lot of female characters in awhile. The romance is sweet, kind-hearted and wonderful. What I really liked was the wickedness in this though. The plot of this story was woven with details that honestly made me skin crawl. I haven't read something that made me uncomfortable like this in awhile and I absolutely loved it. I'm looking forward to continuing this series.

Made it to 110 pages and couldn't bring myself to get through the rest of it. It was slow to start and nothing about the story grabbed my attention.
