Forbidden romance isn’t usually my jam but I loved Hostile so I finally gave this one a go… Worth it, way lower angst than expected…

This was a good ‘un that could have benefitted from being a full length novel.

Yet again, this book could REALLY benefit from a dual POV. I love a misunderstood grump but when you can’t see his perspective, he genuinely seems like a massive asshole… Meanwhile, Wes ABSOLUTELY was the asshole this book (at least the beginning of it) and came across so much more sympathetically than Hudson, who was definitely not the bad guy in this one!!

If Isk and Evan don’t end up together, I will RIOT.

I loved it the first time around, absolutely better after reading On Circus Lane. I’m so glad she decided to write that one, Bee and Ton’s story gave this one so much more meat.

I do agree with other reviews though that it would have been extra satisfying to see Steven’s reaction to Arlo and Jack together…

This was a nope for me… Ben going from grief to love in a day was insane to me… I think this plot would’ve worked great as a full length novel but was kinda absurd as a novella
