reading this book feels like listening to a tragic story from an acquaintance that leaves a heartbreaking sensation, but there is nothing one can do but try to forget it before closing one's eyes and moving on with life when tomorrow comes

i will not complain but it was not as good as i have expected. however, i like the character of xavier. you can see the beginning of his traits that were obnoxious and a bit annoying but somehow he transformed to be a man who is full of understanding, tenderness, and thoughtful. while sloane, i like that she is hardworking person and i get her just so much. however, i wish this book would be good and have a potential full of story

well, where do i start. yes, i love this series so much more than what i expected. this book as well is something i have been waiting ever since the first release of first book. did it entertain me? yes, i love eli ava so much. and their story is touching. i love how devoted eli as someone who is considered physco but he has amount of tenderness and affection for ava. while ava, is just the way she is. the everything and the world eli wanted. and it saddening that this series have come to end.

where i do begin.. i always love lauren's books, but maybe this is not the book that feels special. it is alright book, i like the chitchats, i like the playful interactions, i like how the plot going, it was fun and light story. however, i am missing about its trope. as it is mentioned with enemies to lovers, sure the characters were hated each other' presence but what i wanted is it could have been more than that. because the hate is not close to what the actual word of it, but insteaf the characters bottled up their feelings for not getting spilled out. however, it was not really disappointing.

every love at the first sight, first time, first experience gives a remarkable story; either it is reciprocated or not. but that is a natural feeling that we have for someone. and this is the story love from the writer himself. the way he put everything into words (the longing, the jealously, the love, the dislike, the tenderness, the desperation, and all in aspect) is clearly executed. i do think this book is truly represented for the first love that never fades but still prevail to whatever its season. i like how its writing that profoundly moved me and i like how it is easier for me to comprehend of phillipe's emotions.

this book broke me in many possible way. every sentence, every word that is written very likely to destroy, and how the author letting me to feel, to sense something that i unable to speak. such a profound story telling about the loneliness and loss and the effects to the current moment. one thing that i found and asked myself, have i truly moved on or i just got in the flow where life take me.
