I received this beautiful poetry collection from @Netgalley and devoured it. The pain of falling into the trap of a narcissistic partner, breaking free and the collapse of falling again emerged with the growth of realization and find true happiness.

Heartstopper 5, the latest installment in Alice Oseman's beloved graphic novel series, continues to showcase the amazing characters we have come to love. However, I couldn't help but notice a slight decline in the overall plotline, which may be attributed to the series nearing its end. 😔

One of the strongest aspects of Heartstopper has always been its characters, & this fifth volume does not disappoint in that regard. Oseman's ability to create relatable and authentic characters shines through once again. We witness the continued growth & development of Nick & Charlie's relationship, as well as the exploration of other characters' personal journeys. 🌈❤️

The artwork in Heartstopper 5 remains as stunning as ever. Oseman's illustrations beautifully capture the emotions & nuances of each character, adding depth and realism to the story. The attention to detail in facial expressions and body language truly brings the characters to life on the page. 🎨✨

However, where Heartstopper 5 falls slightly short is in its plotline. While the previous volumes had a strong sense of direction & conflict, this installment feels more like a transitional phase. It seems to be setting the stage for the series' conclusion rather than offering significant plot developments. This may leave some readers longing for more substantial events or conflicts to drive the story forward. 📖🤔

Nonetheless, it is important to remember that Heartstopper 5 is part of a larger narrative, &  it is understandable that some groundwork needs to be laid for the series' conclusion. Oseman still manages to create moments of tenderness & emotional depth, reminding us why we fell in love with these characters in the first place. 💕😭

In conclusion, Heartstopper 5 may not be the most action-packed or plot-driven installment in the series, but it continues to excel in character development & emotional resonance. While the decline in the plotline is noticeable, it is forgivable considering the series is approaching its end. 🌟🌈
