Looking for Alaska by John Green
3.0
This was my fourth John Green book and the best part about his writing (that I personally find) is that all his characters are so relatable that you tend to forget they are fictional.
In all the four books I've read, I never once simped for the males like I usually do in a romance or a fantasy novel. And that's because I didn't think of them as fictional characters.
John Green is a living proof that fictional characters don't have to be extraordinary to be loved - they can simply be the people the reader can build a deep, intimate understanding with.
