Honestly, if it was not mentioned in the book that Nina is 29 years I would have thought she is a teenager. And other characters too. Their behavior didn't seem like they were in their late 20's. But all the characters in this book were likable, even if we did not get to see them a lot. The part of conveying emotions was done well even though the events seemed a bit too convenient. But overall I had a relaxing time reading this.

From feeling hatred towards something you don't really hate but feel like this because someone else has forced their beliefs on you to constant realization of all the desires you have that you will never be able to live, from becoming aware of the fact that your body is attractive, to encountering lusty men and all the verbal and sometimes physical assault just because you have an attractive body, from being told what is written and believed from years, to questioning it with basic logic you unintentionally develop because you have a mind which wonders and have opinion that not necessarily matches with everyone around you, to learn 'who we really are' can never be overpowered by what others want us to be, it will always rise no matter how bad, things go, it will bounce back with all its power or burst out like a lava, from feeling freedom in finally realising what you really are and being able to do it, to realising that there are other people who may be going through something similar and who just need to do something they love as much as you need it and from realising, 'understanding' is something which needs to be done from both sides, to seeing that it can bring out a whole new person in even someone you have already known for your whole life, this is not just a novel this is a whole journey to self reflection and reflection of others around us and most importantly a journey of listening and being heard. Though this novel did not have a lot of words, it was so capable of delivering the exact meaning that we were supposed to get and all the examples used to explain feelings were so on point.
