On one hand, this graphic novel was profound, informative, and interesting. On the other hand, it was so repetitive and in need of a serious edit. The ideas were beaten to death, which sucked out all my enjoyment of it.

The art and vignettes in this book are utterly gorgeous. Ultimately I craved more connective tissue between the episodes or chapter, though. I want to reread this book numerous times to see if it gels more on a third read.
