Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters by Jane Austen, Ben H. Winters
3.0
Disappointedly, the inclusion of sea monsters did little to interest me in this story. It held my attention more after I started to understand the book's themes and how the sister's contrast, but the original scenes are mostly just people talking about social conventions. I did think the addition of the sea monsters and how they transformed Regency-era England were clever, but through most of my reading experience I was bored and ready for the book to be over.
