Honestly I don't know where to start.. the first two parts of the book were just so frustrating because men... But then I also found the third part difficult to get through because I just couldn't take the descriptions of her withering away.. I will have to read part 3 again and return to this review...

The casual sexism threw me off guard... It's one thing if actual teenagers talked like this, now that we have loud incels online I would just chalk it up to these kids being under bad influence but a grown man writing these dialogues and then there's no follow up on shutting that down from other characters is just utterly disappointing.

The reason I picked this book up in the first place was because I got "barakamon" (my best friend's favorite series) confused with bakuman...so jokes on me

Our Dining Table was the sweetest read <3 it's short but it made me cry in that short amount.. I loved the art style, it felt soft and bubbly T-T I adored watching little Tane. I needed this :')

As someone who is afraid of love I just wanted to hear the words minoru's dad
'I think falling in love with someone means also accepting the pain of losing them. That pain is the proof that I ever loved her. I can take that pain and be okay'
