Honestly just start reading it, you won’t be disappointed!

This book was so good that it has permanently ruined certain experiences in life for me lol. I can’t have a period in peace now, can’t eat steak, can’t buy the chunky rolls of beef from the grocery stores lmao. This was wonderfully grossly written. Another gem from Audrey Rush and it was nothing like I expected it to be, but again, I also wasn’t disappointed!

I read this back in like 2020 or 2021 I think. It was a year before COVID happened, which sucked, because that’s what put the next volume to this being released put off. It’s now the end of 2023 and I still don’t think there’s an official release date for volume 3. However, I will say that I enjoyed seeing a Black character with a deeper skin tone as the main character! I also love that she broke a majority of the “standards” in which most Black animated characters are made. The plot was heavy, the graphics were clear, vivid, and engaging. Overall, I definitely would and have recommended to people. Just wish we’d get volume 3 already to learn what happens next!

Just when I thought this series couldn’t get any better!! They really outdid themselves with this one! Come on out with volume 3 now! Lol. This story has SO much potential! I could even see it getting a tv show or movie! These graphics are amazing!!!

We’ve got to stop getting in our own way of love. My mom used to tell me “If you look for something long enough, you’ll find it...” This was the first book by Huffington that I read and I’ve been hooked ever since! These are the kind of Black authors and Black romances I want to read! We deserve soft love too!

When I die, bury me with my hardcover copies of this ENTIRE series…..and a feather duster!!!
