This manga is delightful, hilarious and absolutely abordable! The art style is gorgeous, the characters are likeable and the writing is quick and witty! One if the funniest and most wholesome stories I have read in a long time!
Mermaid Saga, Vol. 4 by Rumiko Takahashi

Without a doubt Rumiko is a master. This series is so different from her usual formula and so fascinating. It’s deep and dark and haunting. so many stories in this collection are about loneliness. Once you lived long enough you grow truly lonely...

Bless Leigh Bardugo for this book - it came at such a right time for me. The story is simple and entertaining , but the world building is masterful and engrossing. I have greatly enjoyed it, despite at time getting weirded out by the use of Russian words in a weird way. Anyway a great read if you need to distract yourself from the world.

I have always loved the middle books... I kinda enjoyed the slower pacing and the building up to the last two chapters, political intrigue was engaging as well. And of course I finally get to meet best boy Nikolai! Do I ever love this character, like he is the reason I rated this book so high. The main two are kinda meh, Alina is your typical self-insert YA heroine and Mal....exists....
Also my other favourite character is Privyet, who just made me laugh every time he got mentioned. His name is literally “Hi”!

Excellent, but not an easy read, I’ll need something real brain dumb as a pallet cleanser after this one.
The book is excellently written, the story is powerful and moving, and the author is an amazing storyteller.
Some parts of the story were quite triggering, even for myself, who have never experienced this type of abuse, reading through them was challenging.
Still highly recommend the book as it ends on a very uplifting note.

The Bullet Journal Method: Track Your Past, Order Your Present, Plan Your Future by Ryder Carroll

It’s a surprisingly good audiobook! Ryder Carrol has a very pleasant narration style and makes everything very easy to follow. The physical book is still greatly useful for more visual examples.
I highly enjoyed it, but being already fairly familiar with the bullet journal I didn’t find that much of new information. But the stories in between the information were interesting and made the book more fun. I really enjoyed the parts on creating goals and the story about the author’s job from hell.
Highly recommend as an introduction to the bullet journaling!

4.5* This one I had to sit on for a bit, but the longer time that passes between me reading through this book, the more valuable I find the advice in it. If you are looking for a great book to start the new year with, this is the one.
