This book is so compulsively readable!
I really enjoyed the characters in this book and their interactions with each other. The way the original story elements are weaved together with the classic fairy tale is great too. 
The only reason it’s not five stars is mostly just vibes. I don’t feel like I absolutely loved this book. But I think it was quite good.
Will the sequels ruin my favourite character? We will find out…

Even a monster can create something beautiful and touching. But he would still remain a monster...


Only Neal Gaiman could write a book like this, with lines between fantasy and reality so blurred, you don’t notice when you cross from one to another.
And with so much horror in things so mundane.
