i found gianna and christian to have a much better dynamic than elena and nico. their constant banter was refreshing to see, and although he is morally grey, him being involved with the cosa nostra wasn’t shoved down my throat and i liked that! the story focused on THEM, and not everything else around them. the best book out of the series for sure, and a super easy read. their relationship flowed well without seeming too rushed or ‘fake’. slayed!

Definite improvement from the first book in regards to pacing and delving more into the histories of the characters. I’m not one usually for royal romances but I enjoyed this! Connected a lot more with Rhys than Alex

now THIS is an enemies to lovers baby. an ACTUAL enemies to lovers. slayed.

There were so many plot points i was bamboozled and i’ve learned i hate the third quarter breakup. But seeing everyone reconvene at the end and being able to see all of the characters developments warmed my soul
