This book is absolutely adorable, it's amazing how you can tell kids a story that's technically tragic bit don't traumatise them and don't cut any important details out.
I would definitely recommend this book.

I really hoped to give this book a higher rating just because of the amazing illustrations of the cute little duck wich are absolutely 5 star worthy, but the text in this book is very boring they are just some old inspirational quotes mushed together it's cute but it's almost nothing if you put it next to the pictures. But because of the pictures it will get a special place in my bookshelf.

I liked this book. I found it because the author mentioned it in a tiktok. I read it at the perfect time in my life, at a point in my life were I am looking for a new perspective in my life not relationship wise but job wise. And this book really helps to see the life from your own perspective.
The book is written in a dairy style what helps you to relate to the Charakters.

This book is quite nice I started it because I needed a little bit of a detox after reading: "Star Wars: dark legends" which was really bad.
But this book I really liked it is a nice book to better connect with the star wars universe. Even though it is not filled with all new star wars facts it helps you to better experience the star wars universe because of the elaborations of already known concepts in this universe.
I especially liked the handwritten note of jedi (and palpatine) in the book.
This book is definitely a quick read, in total is spend about 3 to 4 hours on reading this book.

The story’s in this books are the worst story’s i ever read, heard or consumed other wise. The story’s are very boring and predictable after the first page you already knew how the story would end. The storytelling also was nothing to write home about. it was not at all creative, and the literary pictures the author created were really bad and worn out. The writing stile in this book reminded me of the stile in the romantic novels you get at the checkout in the supermarket. Or maybe like the writing of a cheap soap.
I also read the German translation of the book it is translated very very bad.
The only reason I gave this book two stars and not just one is that the artwork is amazing.

I ordered this book in June this year after the husband of the author talked about it on his TikTok channel. It took a while until i was able to hold it in my hands because it had to travel form the US to Germany. But in August it finally arrived.
I was very exited to start the book and I was not disappointed. This book is amazing I was emotionally invested since the first page and this book was the first one ever that made me cry on the first pages. I cried a lot while reading this book but not just out of sadness/empathy but also because of joy because there are also very cute and wholesome parts in this book.
Thank you so much for telling your story. This Book was entertaining but also taught a lot. In theory I knew about DADT and that some people suffered because of it. But it is a completely different thing to read about the actual experiences of a gay soldier.
I would definitely recommend this book it broadens the reader’s horizons and is also entertaining. This is definitely now one of my favorite books.
