I love academic rivals to lovers trope sm and this book had it and it was so so good, I can't explain

Thank you to @stephaniearcherauthor and her team for sending me the ARC for this book.

I devoured this book. It was such an easy read.
First of all, Rory Miller. He's the standard. The perfect book boyfriend, He's the perfect example of "he falls first and harder" i love the way he cares for hazel and is so protective of her. I loved seeing him find his love for hockey again and how he developed a healthy relationship with his mom and dad.

Hazel is so strong and fiery. Rory's little fire breather (his words;) I loved how she gets Rory to know his worth. Their banter and flirting, it was so fun and enjoyable. They were fake dating but I don't think it was ever fake for them

Totally enjoyed this book!!
