Ariadne is the oldest daughter and is about to make her come out. Julian has recently gotten a title after never knowing who his father was and growing up impoverished.
These two were cute together. Ariadne, along with her brother and his friend show Julian the way of high society. They have great chemistry and both have the desire to do good. I look forward to the rest of the series. Hopefully Julian's steward Ross will get a story too.

Thank you to netgalley for the ARC. Opinions are my own.

This book combined two of my favorite tropes: a house party and brother's best friend. Saint and Anabel were both very likeable characters and down to earth. They each have their own issues and challenges to overcome. Saint experiences anxiety stemming from his childhood and he doesn't look forward to visiting the house that he hasn't been in the last 20 years. Anabel has a reading disorder that she feels she has to hide from everyone because of the stigma.

I just wanted to hug them both. I also wanted to give the Very Good Kitten, Pip, a big ole smoocher because she ends up saving Anabel's life.

The scene where Anabel reveals to Saint that she has difficulty reading was very powerful.
Thank you for giving us Anabel and Saint's story!
Also, thank you to the author for for the gift of this great book. Opinions are my own.
