First of all can we just take a moment to appreciate this absolutely stunning cover 😍.

This is one of those books which I brought because if it's pretty cover. When I started reading this book I had little expectations but as soon as I started reading it I couldn't put it down. From plot to the characters everything was perfect. Lupe is definitely my favorite character.

*******SPOILER AHEAD********

The thing that I liked the most about this book is that Isabella wasn't the one to kill Yoth , it was Lupe. She was silly yet so brave.
I also really liked Isabella. The way Isabella admired Arinta it reminded me of my childhood. I loved reading about strong female warriors.

It's a beautiful tale of friendship and sacrifice.

"Memories that tell a story, if you look hard enough. Because the purpose of memory, I would argue, is to remind us how to live."

I don't know where to start , I honestly have no words to define this fine piece of writing. It's such a beautiful book. It broke and mended my heart in so many ways. It made me cry and smile at the same time.

I had heard a lot of good things about this book but it had been on my shelf for ages and I had no intention to pick this book up. In April I lost my grandma and the grief made me pick up this book. And I can't put into words how much this book has helped me. I instantly fell in love with this book. I wanted to read the entire book in one sitting but I didn't wanted it to ever end.
It captures the pain so perfectly.

I loved every expect of this book and it'd always hold a special place in my heart. I know I'll reread it a million times and it'd always be such a special book for me.

It's one of the first book that I have read by Sophie kinsella. I did enjoyed reading this story overall. But sometimes I was really annoyed by Becky , I get the shopaholic part but she is always lying to everyone, even her own parents. But overall it's a good read if you're looking for a good light and humorous read then I definitely recommend this!

This book was definitely more interesting than the previous. I really liked that Becky finally got her lesson (believe me I don't hate her 🤣) but she really annoyed me. And the ending's great too. It's definitely a very interesting read and I really liked what happened at Morning Coffee at the end of the book. Definitely recommend it!

I have a love hate relationship with this book. I really liked it at times and also found myself get really frustrated with Becky. Like why don't you just decide!!! This book was very slow paced and I got really bored while reading it. I even skipped a couple of pages for it to end soon but I couldn't put it down as I wanted to know the ending. If you are a very patient reader and wants to read a fun book then I definitely recommend it to you!

It's the first book I've read about pirates. Before starting this book I wasn't so sure about liking it but I ended up reading this book in just one sitting. I enjoyed reading this book and have already bought the sequel.

Things that I liked about this book:

I really liked Alosa's strong character. I liked the way how she expresses herself and her remarks dripping with sarcasm.
I really liked all the fighting and reading about a female pirate. I also really liked her relationship with her crew (even though it was a little cliche).

Things that I don't like about this book:

The only thing that I didn't liked about this book is Alosa and Riden's relationship. It felt off and out of place. The reason that u kept on reading this book is that I wanted to read about a strong female character who's going to rule the sea alone.

Overall I enjoyed this book and am hoping to read the sequel soon!

I actually liked the daughter of a pirate king better than this book. It's not that I didn't liked the book. I actually enjoyed reading it. The few things that threw me off are how it only took a couple of chapters to get the third piece of map. I was expecting more action from the book. But it focused more on Alosa , her abilities and her relationships with Riden and her family. Another thing that I found very annoying was how Riden forgot all about his brother for whom he could do anything (basically half of what Riden talked about in the first book) . JUST LIKE THAT!!!! it was so annoying. I was definitely looking forward to see more of him and Riden. Another thing that bothered me was The Siren Queen herself. Like there are a lot of things about her that should have been included in the book. When she found her in the library I was "TELL ME MORE OF HOW IT ALL HAPPENED SO I CAN WRAP MY HEAD AROUND IT" and another thing was that she always wanted to know Alossa but when she got the chance she ran off (I know the reason was stated) but it didn't made much sense to me , she could have at least talked about it. All it was going to take was like 10 minutes of her life. Sure she could resist ocean for that long , right?.
Okay I sound like I hate this book but I don't.
I recommend it to you if you're not bothered all the things I mentioned above. It's a pretty decent read and a good one if you're new to pirates and sirens.

MY FAVORITE BOOK FROM THE SERIES! I love everything about this series. The humor is just on point and I love all the characters. I like it how everything mentioned in the story has a point and it all comes back at the end. There are always no questions left , the end is so perfectly. Definitely recommend it to all adults as well. It helped me get out of my reading slump.
