i feel conflicted bc the book was easy and rather fast to read and the world building was quite interesting and i really liked the queer and disability rep, but I just couldn't get into it fully and wasn't looking forward to continuing, i didn't really like the different dynamics between love interests either and some interactions just felt off, i do think i might have dnfed too early bc i guess twists and revelations would have happened soon but unfortunately i don't care for that too much, it's a shame but I'm excited to continue reading the final strife series soon

I adore the magical realism of the book, the concept of a pop up coffe shop run by cats who give you astrology lessons is absolutely my cup of tea (pun intended). It is a light read that is also inspiring bc these characters are given lessons that change their lives for the better and i adore how the astrology aspect plays into that. I only had one little issue in Satsuki's sub plot

where there is no recognition of the married man's fault for cheating and having an affair, how Satsuki was attracted to the "work" his wife "put into him" to make him present as a good man, how Satsuki should have considered his fans when agreeing to the affair (tho valid) even though that should be his own concern as well; at least at the end this is resolved but i think it would have been good to at least mention in the chapter too

this was assigned reading fir uni so idk if i would have picked this up myself or read this fully bc the main plot doesn't really start until a third or halfway in. It is a fun read and i adore the narration voice of the main character it has a lot of wit and personality; it is definitely very ya, which doesn't seem like it from the description

oh i am in LOVE i need more of this i hope the mangaka receives a lot of support to be able to continue this series 

so beautifully emotionally intimate, wonderful characters learning to heal grow and love, great smut, really liked the union subplot of Mira and Isabel's family issues
