Bye, Baby by Carola Lovering
3.25
Have you ever rooted for the criminal in a story? Well, I found myself rooting for Billie West, the baby thief?! Yes, I know, I couldn't understand it myself.
Bye, Baby was an enjoyable read that kept me interested, I'm not sure it is the mystery/ thriller it is labelled as, but more towards the woman's fiction or crime label.
In all honesty though, the e-arc was sent to me and it took a long time for me to decide to actually download it and read it. I am probably not the ideal reader of this book and should have stuck to my instincts on that and not picked it up.
Thank you to @netgalley and @stmartinspress for the opportunity to read and review an e-arc of this book before publication date.
The Other Valley by Scott Alexander Howard

Examening the idea of parallel timelines and time travel, this book had me wondering where it could possibly end up. I kept reading and reading with no idea how Howard would end the story, and only hoped it would end as I wanted it to.
If you are a fan of sci-fi, dystopian novels, or speculative fiction then this one is for you. It’s a page turner for sure. However, it is also a love story of sorts too.
A fabulous debut novel that has me waiting for @scottalexanderhoward’s next novel.
Thank you @netgalley and @simonschusterca for the opportunity to read and review this novel.
The Search Party by Hannah Richell

Wanted to be riveted to your seat and never know where a book is going to lead you? Then this is the book for you. Half way through I thought for sure I knew what was going to happen. Was I ever off!
A thriller/mystery set in a rural region of Cornwall with a group of friends, who really aren’t that nice to each other. What could go wrong?
If you are a thriller or mystery lover then I would definitely pick up this one!
Thank you to @netgalley, and @simonschusterca for the opportunity to read the advanced copy of this book. Thank you to @hannahrichell for writing a book I enjoyed reading.
The Measure by Nikki Erlick

Unique story and clearly an author who understands the idea of dystopia.

It was interesting to read about Perry's life from his perspective.
