Blair Bennett is one of the top talent agent’s in LA. Blair has her sights set on signing one of LAs rising stars— Sophia Ford. Blair quickly discovers that Sophia’s brother is Wyatt Bradford— the man who broke her heart back in high school.

Wyatt is now a corporate attorney at his father’s law firm, not that he had any choice in the matter. When Wyatt reconnects with Blair he’s determined to not let her get away this time. Things get messy when Wyatt’s firm is involved in a merger between Blair’s office and another talent agency.

This was such a quick read! Unfortunately, I didn’t love this one as much as I had hoped. I was hoping for more of a connection between the two, it felt very surface level. It was great to see the two of them support each other and root for each other though, but I wish we had gotten to see them reconnect more after years apart.

Rosie is the epitome of sunshine and lives for romance. To Rosie, everything can be romantic if you just look for it. Unfortunately, her classmate Aiden does not agree. Aiden writes literary fiction and seems to despise the romance genre — and consequently, Rosie.

When the two get into one of their classic sparring matches during one of their writing workshops, their professor has had enough. Either the two drop her class or they write a novel… together. The two must write a romance, but without the HEA.

As Rosie and Aiden begin to write, they put little pieces of themselves into the novel. The lines begin to blur and soon enough, they can’t decipher what’s real and what’s fiction.

I absolutely devoured this book and I need everyone to read it ASAP. Go pick this up I am BEGGING.

WOW! I’m so incredibly proud of Katie! Fun fact, I read her manuscript of this book a few years back. I am so happy that she got this published!! Congratulations on your debut!!

Katie did an awesome job of bringing these characters to life. I felt every emotion and could picture these characters so vividly. The banter and dialogue flowed so well and the TENSION!!!  🥵🥵 What a stellar debut!

Aiden and Rosie have my heart.

I received an ebook from Booked With the Emily’s. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I was really enjoying this book, but the last half went off the rails for me. I think too much was forced into this one and it just felt rushed. The first half was perfect— the longing, the tension!! But then from the engagement on it got a little too out there for my liking.

Such a great addition to the series! I honestly wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this one, but I had so much fun reading it.

Everly is such a fun character to read about and it was so great to see her crush life and find love with Jack. Jack takes care of everyone around him, but never lets anyone help him out. Seeing his walls come down for Everly and allow her to be there for him was awesome!

This was such a fun read!

Olivia Griswold and her brother’s best friend, Aaron Marino, hate each other, they always have. After years of traveling, Olivia moves to Atlanta to be near her NHL player older brother again. Unfortunately, Aaron Marino is on the NHL team and after 10 years the teasing is still there.

When Olivia’s roommate situation becomes unbearable, Aaron offers up a solution: live with him until the New Year. In exchange, Aaron needs someone to bid on him at the team’s auction. Aaron’s been dealing with an unhinged fan who won’t seem to go away and Olivia is the perfect person to help him out. As the two spend time together, Olivia begins to realize that maybe Aaron isn’t as bad as she thought.

Aaron remembers so many little details about Olivia and would do absolutely anything for her. He is such a softie— crocheting animals as a pregame ritual, donating his time to the Children’s Hospital, and he is willing to do anything to make Olivia happy.

Darcy and Hayden have my whole heart. Best friends to lovers excellence!!!

The men in this series are so incredibly gone for their women and Hayden is no exception. Hayden’s loved Darcy since they met the first week of college. Unfortunately his best friend Kit picked her up first. For the last 8 years he’s had to watch the women he loves be with another man. Until they break up and Darcy ends up at Hayden’s apartment. While Darcy heals and learns to become her own person again, she asks Hayden for tips on how to be a player.

I loved seeing Hayden grow to love himself as well. Hayden has always been known as a good time, never the long-term relationship guy. He cares for everyone around him, never wanting the spotlight. It was awesome to see his teammates cheer him on and support his change from defense to offense.

A modern tangled-inspired rom-com? Sign me up!

I enjoyed this book a ton, Ren (Rapunzel) was the epitome of sunshine. Edward (Fitz) was the perfect Eugene (Flynn). I wish the book had gone more into their happily ever after though! I would have loved to see them a few years down the road.

Ren grew up in Idaho, isolated from everything but her parents and their farm animals. Never having gone to school, at the age of 22 she convinces her parents to allow her to go to college. During the week she spends her time at school, but every Friday her parents are there to pick her up. As Ren learns more about the “outside” world, she begins to wonder if her parents were wrong about everything…

After a few mix ups and a snow storm, Jess gets stuck sharing a room with her ex. Over the course of a few days, the two begin to pen a romance novel… TOGETHER.
