There was literally no point behind this book.Except for some fucking. And uh even though a woman writes it, it feels like it was written by a man because the only thing that is talked about is how this chick has to kneel and submit, but nobody describes any of that. And if you really wanted to write some soft core bdsm, stuff, you would explain, maybe just a little bit of it. That's the consent part of it.

I don't even know how to describe this book.  Maybe my problem was the writing (so many commas). I loved the premise of the book,  the thought behind it,  but the execution was convoluted.  It was a quick read but it could have had SUCH DEPTH that it would shake the world.   I figured it out... EVERY PARAGRAPH IS A SENTENCE. it's how I imagine a Sally Rooney book written (i haven't read anything of hers).

It was a good read.  I like the breakaway of character books after the 1st. But, I will say that lieks end in this book was odd.

The book took time to get to where it was going.  When you thought you knew what was going on,  BOOOOOM!! it turned on you.  I liked it and would recommend it to others.

This book was so moving,  so powerful,  so emotional. For this to be a debut novel is astonishing.  I don't know what to say except that I am truly moved by the complexity of the relationships in the book.  Well done

This book is beautiful.  I felt so many emotions in the writing that ended up pouring out of me.  I have no words to describe how truly brilliant this masterpiece is.

This book will live in my heart. It is a wonderfully intertwining story of 5 people,  divided by chapters,  and something they are going through.  I did not think this book would hit me in the feels like it did,  but I was wrong.  I think there is a lot of reflecting to be had in this book no matter who you are.

This book was a powerful mix of magical and mystical writing,  revolving around love, revenge,  and curiosity.  The main characters were Loveable and grew on me. I wanted to know more,  i wanted them to win,  I wanted them to get what they deserved in the best possible way- peace.  I give this book 4.75 because I selfishly wish it was longer....

I'm so mad I waited so long to read this book.  This book had so many intricate and complex areas. It was truly gorgeous.  I've got to give the author credit on the plot twists! I'm on to the next book and it better not have middle book syndrome!

I bought this book in 2019. And finally just got a chance to read it. This book was wonderfully written!. Not only was the book dark and mysterious, but there were plot twists that I did not see coming. I saw it. The author did a great job at keeping my interest. Which is not easy in a book. The cast of characters were very diverse and this was just very well written I will be looking up other books from this author.
