I drug our finishing this book because I wasn’t ready for it to end! The Grishaverse and the crows will always be at the top of my list! I hope she never stops telling their stories.

Despite mixed reviews, I absolutely loved this book. I read it in just a couple of chunks! I love the idea of the Grisha and all the different powers they can hold. I also love that Alina learns to be empowered and strong on her own, becoming a very strong female character, when in the beginning of the book she is kind of winy and needy (more on the typical teenage, female character spectrum). I picked this book up not really knowing what to expect, but am glad that I decided to read it, against what many others said about the book. I will definitely finish out this Trilogy, and recommend others to read it and decide for themselves.

Loved this book even more than I did the first! I really love all of the new characters that were introduced and the whole war of good vs evil. I like that not everyone is fully good or fully evil. I felt that it makes the storyline that much more real in a since that they are struggling to define their roles in life and in the ongoing war for Ravka! I can't wait for book 3 to get here!

Loved this entire trilogy!!! I'm so sad that it's over! I loved the Russian influence throughout the storyline. I also liked that not everything was happy and rainbows. There is a lot of death and pain throughout this story that I felt really brought the story to life!
