This book was so lovely. I love how each animal that we learn about overlaps to understand how they  interact with each other. I also love the opinion that science cannot cover the wonder that is related to the sea, the feeling that is connected to it. This was a great book, and I love nonfictions that are told like stories.

This book was nice and sweet and I adore the illustrations, but I definitely prefer the first one of this series. I don’t regret reading the rest of it though!

Did not finish book. Stopped at 34%.
Well… I was not expecting that in any way, shape, or form. Although the illustrations started off beautifully, the book quickly became gory and horrific for no good reason. This is definitely not what I signed up for and I should’ve looked at the book description before diving into this dark world.

The art of this book is gorgeous and the story is so lovely. This book reminds me of a mix of Adventure Time and Hilda, and I loved reading about 2 bug best friends. I couldn’t get enough of the illustrations, but some parts of the story weren’t as fleshed out as I would’ve preferred. I enjoyed going through Rhino-B and Stag-B’s adventures!

I love the whimsy of this book. It manages to show the simple mundanities of life in a way that makes them seem so fantastical. I loved reading about Anne’s children and their experiences. This book felt like a collection of stories of the Blythe family carefully woven together. I can’t get enough of L.M. Montgomery’s writing style and I can’t wait to read the next book of this series!

4/3/2023 - This was a nice and cozy fantasy reread. I enjoyed hearing all about the dwarves and Bilbo’s plight. This story is definitely my favorite over the Lord of the Rings because of its brevity and because of the humor of it.
