I wasn’t a big fan of the writing style. Seemed like a lot of telling with no showing. And I didn’t have any incentive to like the characters or feel for their pain. 

This book was just what I was craving. The cozy, found family vibes of a crew making their way through space was such a joy to read. I love how this book managed to be so heartwarming while also having just enough action to keep you on the edge of your seat. The characters are amazing and you truly fall in love with every one of these crew members. I can’t wait to dive into the next book of this series!
