So, I need medical help after this one. The WHIPLASH I got every other second… I just can’t.
I need therapy and I need to stare into the void for a year or two.
Anyways, worth every single moment of feeling pure insanity, happiness, pain, sadness, stress, ANXIETY.

I have never, NEVER, been this excruciatingly bored while reading a book not being about worms in different stages of life.
I’d rather read that book about worms (I’m sure there is one) hundred times back to back than opening Quicksilver again.
I’m mad I spent my money and time on this one.
There’s so many books out there worth being read, and this one is not that.

Also, KINGFISHER? Seriously?! Come on….

So, the first 70% of the book were absolutely great. The pictures were STUNNING. It was eerie, mysterious and slightly creepy, and then…. Then everything went south.

WHAT THE ACTUAL F WAS THAT ENDING?! It felt like I was reading the last Housemaid book by McFadden?! Sure, I got the answers I needed, but no, seriously, that ending was just unhinged. I think I just need to sit with this one for a few days and maybe reflect a little..

Under her skin was a fast-paced, entertaining read.

I’d say that it at times, was a bit slow, but the twists and turns made up for it.
A quick read for a cold day.

Thanks to NetGalley and Inkubator Books for the opportunity to read this ARC.
