Reawakening by Amy Rae Durreson

Better than average prose writing than the usual MM books. Epic fantasy setting that's a bit twee at times but overall a good read. I like how a dragon's hoard and strength comes from people who love the dragon. There are some shonen anime moments (lending each other strength at a critical moment) but I still enjoyed the story.

Interesting duology with a surprising amount of politics and plot. One of the better MM romances I've read so far.

Hot and hilarious. The ending is unfortunately quite rushed but still an extremely fun romp.

The dragons are creepy degenerates, which I haven't seen in a fantasy series before.

Dark world with a lot of war and toxic politics, toxic sex, and toxic relationships. The characters are messy af. All hurt, no comfort, and it's a fun romp. On to book two.

The half-Filipino background of the main character was a pleasant surprise. Everything about the extended family dynamics and how his Filipina mom spoke was on point, the author did her research.

A better alternative is The Fibro Manual by Ginevra Liptan.

The first half is useful for the overview of the condition for people who are newly diagnosed or unfamiliar with fibromyalgia. But the treatment portion is lacking--for a self-help book it's fairly unhelpful.

There are some good tips regarding pacing while doing exercise but the advice is too general to be put in practice, maybe they're waiting for people to sign up for their paid CBT program. There's also absolutely terrible advice like "accept all social invites". What??
