Hilarious and moving - she’s a great writer and as funny on paper as she is on her podcast!

I found this to be such an enjoyable historical fiction. With blood magic, hiding in plain sight, enemies to lovers to enemies again, I was hooked! The details of upper society life, fashion and scandal really helped set the tone for this book, and haunted pasts gave the characters some interesting depth.

I’ll definitely be looking for book two!

okay, I hadn’t read a #PeterSwanson thriller before this and now I’m wondering why????

I was HOOKED right from the beginning! the narrators changed, the suspicion was all over, people kept popping up and disappearing! wild.

I have some other books of his on my shelf and now they’ve moved up the list!

also lookatmeee I read my #JuneBOTM book in the actual month I got it!
