This was absolutely delightful to read. To quote Vanessa herself, it was so much fun delving into "vengeful spirits and small haunted towns". I love a good female rage and vengeance story (hence my recent foray into femgore). I also enjoyed the folklore and legends explored in this. I love a good myth retelling so this really hit that spot for me too. Add in a small town steeped in spooky legend with a beautiful old gothic home and I am sold.

Looking forward to more amazing stories by Vanessa!

This is a sweet, cozy sapphic romance  set in early 1900s Paris, France involving a human librarian named Viola and a gargoyle named Boudicca.

I really enjoyed the magical library (who doesn't love a magic library?), the gothic architecture, the gargoyles (of course), the found family feels, the witty banter, and spicy scenes (of course).

A little slower than the other Foundation books but interesting ending.

Think feminist American Psycho set in Victorian times. Weird, whacky, funny as shit.

This is a tough book to read but interesting. Despite the madness, I could not stop reading it. My first intro into femgore books. Very disturbing, approach with caution and ability to handle gore.

Another fun romp through the world of Emily Wilde. This time she marries a Faerie king and must save their lands. I love these books and they are never disappointing. I don't think this is the best book in the series but it is still entertaining.
