The Host by Stephenie Meyer

Took me quite some time to pick this book up, I remember when it first released, I refused to even read the synopsis, I was just so angry with breaking dawn I knew this would be a freaking Travesty. I'm glad to say it wasn't, however it still took me quite some time to get through the book it was rather slow. It dragged up until page 300 damn near, but I continued to read nonetheless. Let me just say I HATED that extra awkward ass triangle like seriously WTH Stephenie (maybe I'm the only one who knows I felt it was beyond disrespectful). It did however played out good at the end everyone lives happily ever after (of Course). I LOVED Mel she wasn't a softy (but then of course she wasn't the lead her body just was) I couldn't stand Wanderer ( I couldn't get past the whole parasite thing, Oh WELL). Anyway I am actually excited for the movie even more now than I was before because I know it'll just get straight to the point none of the long windedness that is Mrs. Meyers. because seriously she sure knows how to bore you at times GEESH!

I enjoy the fact that Rachel isn't a long winded writer. She gives you what you need and not ever having to explain something for a whole 2-3 pages. Keeps the book moving right along which is why I can finish her books in a day. Thank you Ms. Hawkins :)
This is such a cute Trilogy. I enjoyed all 3 and this was a Good way to wrap up to wrap it up. I really enjoyed the story and the super cheesy happy ending despite her having to kill off someone for the ending to be cheetasticly happy.
4 solid stars...
And I will definitely be reading her other books when they come out

I enjoyed this book a lot. Minus Mrs. Kenyon's ramblings the story was Good. I've come to like Caleb a LOT and Kody as well just sad for Nick that their relationship is somewhat DOOMED!
I liked the whole cyber bullying plot she used for this book. Good plot and outcome. As for Cherise I am so happy Nick stood up to his mom it was long overdue, the relationship between them will just get better cause of it I'm sure. While we're on Nicks parentals I can't wait to see what the next showdown with Jim's and Adarian will be like. I hope Nick lays it to him and puts an end to him. And I wish someone would out Grim smh buy I'm getting ahead of myself. Anyway this book it's 2 thumbs up and I'm sad I have to wait a whole year for [b:Inferno|13508217|Inferno (Chronicles of Nick, #4)|Sherrilyn Kenyon|http://www.goodreads.com/assets/nocover/60x80.png|19060160] to come out!

Descriptions, Descriptions LONG drawn out Descriptions!
Oh My was this book very descriptive I mean WOW! It got really boring took me weeks to finish. The book started out with loads of potential, However Diana and Matthews instaLove had the book take a sharp left in to YawnsVille. I remember countless times think dear GAWD will this end? I want to know what happens, I really REALLY want to continue with the serious/saga/Duology what ever it is going to be, but the fact that it took damn near 600 pages for NOTHING to happen has me a little hesitant to go any further.

Will Grayson, Will Grayson by David Levithan, John Green
I don't usually read contemporary books but im trying to add then in slowly but let me say this, if i can assure i'd get books this good i'd most definitely read them more. This was freaking hilarious, I was laughing so hard people gave me strange looks, but i didn't care. To think I almost passed this up, and then After renting it i almost returned it without reading smh Glad I didn't. I'm going to have to add this to my collection.

As much as I am a Zombie girl, I haven't really read many zombie books. However the few I have read have such strong leads (male and female). This book didn't, I'm aware of the very sheltered life that the heroine lived but when "shit" hit the fan she didn't step up or in her case GROW up to the challenge. Most of the book I was slapping my forehead like WTF, seriously she was a selfish whiny twat. With all her rants (ones she never voiced to other characters) it really caused the book to drag on and I really grew annoyed wanting either for someone to slap some sense into her or the end of the book to come. BUT That's where my rant has to end about the book other than a whiny selfish narrator, the book was GOOD. I don't think I can take her and all her inner turmoil (that was caused by her might I add) in book two but I am going to continue on with the story and hopes she grows up.
