Easy going fast paced finished in one sitting relaxing loved even felt the book ran so fast needed more of the story more insights in Lacey's journey with the healing from her abusive father even more of her past and abusing scenes how Brian is helping her through these journey maybe reading her nightmare her suffering of sleeping in night would the story more depth but overall loved and going backwards to read the whole series

Loved the story between Dex and Eira how it started and ended then reunited loved his baby steps in his relation with his daughter how he changed from not wanting to be a father to the most devoted dad ever. Loved his family and brothers and his cousin the love between them maybe it'll be the reason that will make me return to read the rest of the series love also Eira relation with Eddie and Dylan and how she care for them not as a big sister but as a parent really great and how they appreciated this and decided to remove their burden from her shoulder so she could concentrate on herself loved

Average thriller unpredictable reason for his escape but mostly was how to built trust with her stepdaughter in the journey of learning who really his husband is but we didn't get the U.S Marshall real intentions preferred if there was an epilogue contains Owen's pov and his view of his story and his opinion about Hannah's deal with Nicholas not a small appearance at the end also wanted to get insights in how going to be Bailey relationship with her mother's family get been better

Loved the story of Lacey and Gray the suffering and whole parents issue they both suffered at different rates how Gray dealt with Lacey's pain but almost killed when he blamed her once even if he known about all her past fears and suffering it was painful maybe needed more insights into her emotions at this incident especially but overall great and as always Laylah Roberts my always favourite author
